Our 3 Favorite Wedding Trends For 2020
January 10, 2020
The Knot has released their Wedding Trends Report and we are excited to see them come to life at Chula Vista Resort!
We’ve gone through their Wedding Trends Report and picked out a few of our favorites (some of them have already been featured at Chula Vista Resort by trendsetting couples!) Happy Galentine’s Day, ladies! Today is the perfect day to share time with your besties and head out on the town! Ladies’ night in Wisconsin Dells is the night you’ve all been waiting for.

1. Incorporating Florals Beyond Bouquets
According to The Knot, “In 2020, couples will be using florals for more than just bouquets.” We love to see couples working with their florists to expand on the beauty that greenery and flowers can bring to your big day. A few ways that couples can incorporate florals beyond their bouquets are by adding a color block floral wall, using florals to create textures and shapes and adding edible blooms into foods and drinks, according to The Knot.

2. Interactive Moments
The Knot predicts that 2020 will see an increase of interactive moments in 2020 weddings. While photo booths will continue to reign at weddings, we are looking forward to more interactive moments like the live painter featured at Ashley and Eric’s wedding this past summer. The ceremony was painted by their artist, Fine Arts by Nicole, and showcased during the reception to give a personalized touch to wedding day decor. During their reception, Nicole created digital sketches of guests.
[Personalized jackets are the newest 2020 wedding trend, and we love them! This is one of our favorites from Etsy shop, Gypstitchembroidery.]
3. Personalized Jackets
If you haven’t seen them yet, personalized jackets are out in full force just in time for their 2020 wedding trend highlight. According to The Knot, “Matching jackets create a sweet and fun moment for couples during their nuptials… Customizable jackets can be purchased on Etsy today.” Here is one of our favorites we found on Etsy from shop gypstitchembroidery. Read more about the 2020 Wedding Trends Report from The Knot and tell us your favorites. We hope to see some of the trends and many more beautiful touches to weddings this year at Chula Vista Resort!
